This Saturday is the Orange County Guitar Circle's first meeting of the season at Chapman University, it's a Featured Artist recital offering the extraordinary artistry of Enric Madriguera. Take this opportunity to join the OCGC or to renew your membership, and spend a wonderful evening listening to great music in great company. Madrigera is also giving a Master Class on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in Bertea Hall Choral Room, free for auditors.

This week is the start of a busy new season for classical guitar in SoCal. Michael Chapdelaine has the unusual distinction of having won both the GFA and National Fingerstyle guitar competitions - you can hear him play on Wednesday in Pasadena and Thursday in Altadena, then in Playa del Rey on Saturday. For you South County residents he's also playing in San Diego on Friday. The always superb Triada Trio are performing in Fullerton on Friday (this is the start of CSUF's excellent Guitarists of the World concert series), and Christopher Parkening offers a Master Class at Pepperdine on Saturday afternoon.
