There's a brief flurry of activity this week in the midst of a quite summer, beginning with Ben Bolt who is performing on Friday evening in the Long Beach Classical Guitar Society's series, and offering a Master Class on Thursday evening. Bolt was a highly acclaimed student of both Segovia and Carlevaro, his performance and class should be of unusual interest. Isamu Nakashio is playing at the Nixon Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda on Sunday afternoon, and Aaron Spoor offers a free recital at Border's in Chino on Saturday evening.
